Painting Again, well maybe one day...

Both kids are doing great in school which makes me one proud momma! Both teachers said they are so good at Art and creating things. I hope that is is hereditary and not just that little kids like to make things! My father was an artist and my two older sisters are both artists in different ways than myself. Let's hope they hang on to it and not out grow it like most people do. If anyone wants to check out my paintings they are at www.chengallery.com,  I haven't painted in about a year, being pregnant and taking care of a new baby boy has definitely put that part of my life on hold. I still long to paint and hope to start it up again very soon, it is great therapy! Very relaxing and calming to shut off your mind and see where it takes you. It is like tuning out and then when you snap back to reality, you are amazed yourself that you painted that. Maybe when the baby is a bit bigger. He comes first of course!

Today 2/23/2012

Working on lots of Owl Orders today and taking pre-orders for Easter Bunnies! Got a great marketing package at Smock-A-Palooza last night, 5 Shout Outs and a year button on her blog! Which made me want to have a blog once I saw how cool her blog was! I am a sucker for peer pressure I guess!

Tonight I have to go to the school for parent/teacher conferences, hope both my girls get good news!
